Supporting Primary RE ImprovementsThis programme is for schools that wish to maintain and develop RE as a key part of a modern, progressive curriculum. Rather than be seen as a marginalised subject, this programme will celebrate the vital part that RE can make to pupils’ development and learning, examining classroom practice, curriculum development and subject leadership. Course Leader: Fiona MossFiona currently works as RE/SACRE Curriculum adviser and a Primary Consultant. She has taught in Leicester for many years and until February was Vice Chair of National Association of Teachers of RE. She has worked with QCA on the review of the primary curriculum. Fiona will offer innovative ideas to improve teaching and learning in RE and relate RE to current educational imperatives such as community cohesion. From September, Fiona will be working for RE Today Services. Autumn 2009: Leading improvement in Primary Religious Education
